In collaboration with the Pennsylvania Department of Health, Bureau of EMS, HeartRescue Project of Pennsylvania, the American Heart Association and Cetronia Ambulance Corps, the event was intended to inform the general public on the new campaign called ‘Lend a Hand, Save a Life’. The public was educated on abrupt cardiac arrest and learned how to save a life in three easy steps. Watch coverage of the event from WFMZ 69 News HERE.

Book Blast provided the opportunity for families to read together and offered a variety of fun book-based activities. The event at Oxford Valley Mall featured a reading of Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax, and Lehigh Valley Mall featured a reading of Lyle, Lyle Crocodile. Both Quaker Bridge Mall and Montgomery Mall had Don Dougherty of Classroom Adventure Stories tell an interactive tale that allowed for plenty of participation from children in attendance.
