As We Turn the Calendar to a New Month, We Are Excited for What Promises to be an Explosive Month at Jenna Communications

New Client & Partnership Announcement:

On Saturday, June 13, NetCost Market celebrated the Grand Opening of its new location in Philadelphia’s Blue Grass Plaza. The celebration included live music, tastings, promotions and even a ravioli eating contest. This was a great day for food lovers all over the area. We especially enjoyed a performance by Jacob and Ariana, two young ballroom dancers who hail from Dancing With The Stars Ballroom Battle winner Alan Genkin’s Beat Dance Studio! They were awesome to watch! NetCost Market provides a gourmet selection of international delicacies at prices competitive to other commercial grocers. This grand opening was a perfect way to show local foodies the great selection and service that NetCost brings. You can read more about the fun-filled day here or on Philly Grub! We are thrilled to be working with this great market as we move forward.

Event Recaps:

On Sunday, June 14 Jenna Communications partnered with the Delaware Valley Stroke Council for the 21st Annual Dr. Howard Mazer Memorial Strides for Stroke 5k.The race was a huge success as tons of people flooded towards the foot of the Philadelphia Art Museum to raise money for stroke awareness and survivors. We would like to thank all of the volunteers and everyone who came out to participate in spreading stroke awareness throughout the Delaware Valley. Also, a special shout out and thank you to Monique Braxton from NBC 10 and Mike Missanelli from 97.5 The Fanatic who emceed the event. It would not have been possible without them! You can learn even more about the 5k from these clips featured on NBC 10 & Fox 29 News.

Children and families from the Casey Cares Foundation were given the opportunity to tour Fox 29 Studios this month! The kids had a chance to sit at the news desk and report the weather in front of the green screen. Jenna Communications was happy to coordinate the event and the kids loved every minute of it. You can check out more pictures from the tour on our Twitter and Instagram.

Upcoming Events:

The Casey Cares Foundation has teamed up with the Baltimore Orioles to provide Landyn, a six-year-old from York, PA, the chance to throw the first pitch at the game on June 29. The game begins at 6:30 and will take place in Oriole Park. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for Landyn, who has been diagnosed with Spina Bifida. Jenna Communications is happy to support the cause. Good luck, Landyn!

The Casey Cares Foundation Caring Connection Party will be held on July 18 at the Seaport museum in Philadelphia. The party is one of many planned throughout the year that give the children of the Casey Cares Foundation a chance to have some fun! These parties are filled with compassion and allow the parents of the children a chance to meet and connect. A great time is sure to be had by all.
