Event Recaps:

Casey Cares Foundation not only put smiles on their children’s faces at the 76ers game on March 13th but with help from a very special guest, Julia Rae, also known as Miss Philadelphia, the night was unforgettable. Julia shared her thoughts on the night on her Facebook,  “”Best night of my life!” exclaimed a Casey Cares child I met last night. He took the words right out of my mouth. Partnering with this foundation is going to make for such a meaningful year of service.” Casey Cares is so excited to have Miss Philadelphia partner with the foundation.

Our president, Jennifer Sherlock spoke at two events this month at Villanova University! The first event Jennifer brought along the founder of Casey Cares, Casey Baynes. Jennifer spoke about Jenna Communications LLC and how she started her business and Casey spoke about her experience with starting a non-profit foundation. The second event, Jennifer spoke to a networking success class and covered topics such as personal branding, building long-term relationships, and much more! Jennifer had a great time speaking at her alma mater and meeting such career driven students!

Over the weekend, Jennifer attended the Donors Are Heroes, The Party at the Four Seasons Philadelphia. Organ Donors Are Heroes, was founded in 2001, and is a committed group of volunteers supporting the Gift of Life Donor Program and its charitable supporting organization, Transplant Foundation. Its mission is to raise public awareness about the importance of becoming an organ and tissue donor and to dispel the myths surrounding this process.
