New Client Announcement:

We’re excited to be working with Lucky Strike; a unique entertainment bar and restaurant that features bowling lanes, music and an energetic crowd. Jenna Communications will host an event there dubbed Suits & Strikes happening on Sunday, November 9 from 1- 4 p.m. The event is powered by Lucky Strike and the charity, Suiting Warriors which provides suits for men transitioning from war to the workplace. One suit could change a veterans’ life for the better. That suit can create a first impression allowing introductions, connections, opportunities and advancement.

Event Recaps:

The Ultimate Networking party always brings together some of Philly’s top business minds. On October 21 we met new friends and caught up with old ones at Doc Magrogan’s Oyster House in West Chester. There was a lot of networking and exchanging of business cards. To top it all off, some of the guests won great prizes during the raffle. Just remember to bring your business cards and a smile to the next event.

The International Interior Design Association (IIDA) Pennsylvania/Delaware/New Jersey chapter held its 13th Annual Product Parade on Wednesday, October 15 during The DesignPhiladelphia Festival.  It’s a nine day city-wide celebration for the Philadelphia Center of Architecture.  The Product Parade is traditionally a tradeshow for commercial interior designers who join together for the week.  This year was particularly memorable because the event was open to the general public for the first time. The event featured numerous industry professionals, experts, students and people who just went to check out the show. Fox 29 Good Day even had something to say about the event. Check out Mike Jerrick and Alex Holley here: Fox 29 mentions IIDA Product Parade.

Doctors Express had a wicked time at the Witches of Narberth Festival on Saturday, October 25.  Children and adults enjoyed a scavenger hunt while employees from Doctors Express passed out goodies for all of the kids to enjoy. Along the way children laughed, played, won prizes and of course ate candy.

Upcoming Events:

Lucky Strike has partnered with the Suiting Warriors Foundation to host a fun event in honor of Veterans Day. Suits & Strikes will take place on Sunday, November 9 from 1-4 p.m. The event will help raise awareness for veterans transitioning into the workforce by encouraging guests to donate professional suits to the vets. There will be a sports memorabilia auction, a visit from Classic Rock 102.9 WMGK ‘s Street Team, a 50/50 raffle, the Sunday NFL ticket on 19 TV’s, drink specials, and some local celebs in attendance. We hope to see you there!

We’re excited to announce that the Casey Cares holiday party Philly edition will be held at Sesame Place on December 6. The holidays can be a stressful time for Casey Cares families who don’t have the time or the finances to plan fun outings for their children – but Sesame Place is giving back this year! Dozens of local families will get to see Santa in a parade through the park, plus enjoy the holiday festivities with their loved ones. We would like to thank Sesame Place for donating all of the tickets, food and Santa’s visit for these critically ill children.

Our very own Jennifer Sherlock made a return to TV. Jennifer was featured on Damon Feldman’s show, “The Promoter”. She interviewed local sports favorite, and Mr. Invincible himself, Vince Papale. The show is taped every Thursday at Chickie and Pete’s in South Philly. It airs on Wednesday evenings at 10 p.m. on Channel 4 Philadelphia Delaware Valley and goes out to 2.6 million households. Check out some photos below with Damon and co-hosts Debbie Sarcone and Angela Cattone. #celebrityboxer

Thuzio has launched in Philadelphia. Jennifer Sherlock attended the event on October 13 at The Capital Grille, which featured a dinner discussion with former Phillies Mitch Williams and Mickey Morandini. It was moderated by former Eagle Gary Cobb, and included many sports lovers and business folks who wanted to get close to athletes, and grow their business network and relationships. If you would like to know more about Thuzio or the Thuzio Executive Club Memberships please email jsherlock@jennacommunications.com.
