CASEY CARES FAMILIES HUDDLE UP AT EAGLES TRANING CAMP

-Local non-profit plans day for families to attend practice and meet players-

Who: The Casey Cares Foundation, a non-profit charity that provides uplifting and ongoing programs with a special touch to critically ill children and their families throughout the Mid-Atlantic area, will provide a fun day at Eagles Training Camp where families will be given the chance to watch a practice and interact with the players. Four Casey Cares families will be in attendance, joined by Casey Baynes, founder of the non-profit organization.

What: The families will arrive at 11 a.m. to watch practice until 2:30 p.m. They will have access to a VIP tent throughout the day, which includes a light lunch, sodas and water. Prior to practice beginning, the families will high five each player as they enter the practice field. Following practice, the families will have an opportunity to meet and get autographs from members of the team.

Where: Novacare Complex, Philadelphia, PA

When: Friday, August 7^th from 11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Why: The Casey Cares Foundation offers special events that bring smiles and lift the spirits of critically ill children and their families. As a regional charity, Casey Cares Foundation allows for each event to become a personalized experience, and tailors activities to the interests and schedules of the individual recipient. “It’s great to continue to be able to provide fun events for these kids and their families,” says Casey Baynes, founder of Casey Cares. “We are so inspired by them each and every day and we hope that the families enjoy their experience with the Philadelphia Eagles!”

Photo Opp: The best press opportunity would be following practice as players are signing autographs. Please note, still photography is only permitted before practice begins, for the first five periods of practice ONLY, and then once practice has concluded completely. NO VIDEO is permitted during the day unless you have a press credential. Please park in the general parking next door in the Naval Lot.
