*DETAILS: Mural Arts Philadelphia with Bart Yasso (former Chief Running Office of Runner World) and Mark Sullivan (runner of all 25 Philadelphia Marathons) will kick off training for the 26th Philadelphia Marathon Weekend with Mural Arts Paint Day & Philly Marathon Weekend Run. Last year at the 2018 Philadelphia Marathon Weekend, voters picked Kala Hagopian of Hagopian Arts to paint the mural that encompasses the history of running in the City of Philadelphia. Attendees of the event will meet at the bottom of the Art Museum Steps at 8:00 a.m., and will train according to distance and pace. Finish in River Field Park where there will be music, refreshments and giveaways until 12:00 p.m.  All attendees receive a commemorative towel and have an opportunity to win Phillies tickets. Following the morning festivities will be a post run event at Urban Saloon featuring Michelob ULTRA specials.

This will be a fun event that starts training for the upcoming Philadelphia Marathon Weekend and painting the winning mural.
