JerseyMan/PhillyMan Magazine Recognize 2022 Honorees with a Night Out in Style
Ballroom at the Ben Hosts 7th Annual Unmasking Event
Philadelphia, PA (October 13, 2022) – In less than a month JerseyMan/PhillyMan Magazine will be holding its seventh annual Unmasking event to celebrate the 2022 Man and Woman of the Year honorees. The event will take place Thursday, November 3, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Ballroom at the Ben. Every year, the magazine meticulously chooses 6 men and women to recognize for being the most influential in their professional and philanthropic endeavors. For every ticket purchased for this event, a portion of the proceeds will benefit two charities that have been highlighted by the honorees. Each of the honorees has chosen a charity that they are passionate about, but the guests will be the ones to decide who wins the proceeds by choosing which honoree and charity they wish to support. The top two honorees will then be awarded the proceeds to benefit their selected charity.
Anthony DiFabio is the president and Chief Executive Officer at Acenda Integrated Health. Anthony chose a charity that hits close to home for him, TOPSports, which is an inclusive athletic program for children with special needs. He believes the impact the program has made on his family and the community has been profound. Three of DiFabio’s children have been volunteers with the organization for many years as they were inspired by their older sister who has multiple disabilities.
Another honorable nominee is Suzy Pratowski, the president of PI insurance and an independent agency owner. The charity she is choosing to support is Bringing Hope Home which is an organization that provides relief to local families with cancer through financial and emotional support. Suzy is very passionate about this charity as she said, “I choose Bringing Hope Home as my charity because I believe nobody should fight cancer alone. Cancer has touched almost every family in some way and BHH is there to help with not only financial support but emotional support as well.”
One more nominee to mention is Jane Scaccetti. Jane is a Board Member of Penn Entertainment, inc. The charity that she chose to support is the Philadelphia Foundation, an organization that grows effective philanthropic investment, connects individuals and institutions across sectors and geography, and advances civic initiatives through partnerships and collaboration.
Other mentionable nominees are Senator Troy Singleton, supporting Providence House Domestic Violence Services of Catholic Charities, Dr. Keisha Taylor, supporting Mount Laurel Public Education Fund, and Rob Worley, supporting CONTACT of Burlington County.
As well as celebrating the Man and Woman of the Year honorees, there will also be a high-end silent auction that will run from 6 – 8 and those proceeds will go to the charities (expect a lot of sports memorabilia). Guests are encouraged to bring their own masks but masks can be purchased at the venue for $5 and the profit will also be going towards the charities. Throughout the night guests will be able to enjoy a top-shelf open bar, food stations, and music by DJ MONTONE.
Sponsors include Tito’s Handmade Vodka which is the charity sponsor and vodka of the night, TITLE sponsor TC Irons Insurance, Wells Fargo Center, Jefferson Health, Topgolf, and many more fantastic businesses.
Parking Instructions: Ticket price includes parking at PARK (green sign) which is directly across from the 9th Street entrance to Ballroom at the Ben, between Samson Street and Chestnut Street. There will be a parking attendant at the gate so if you’re unsure, ask!
