PHILADELPHIA – November 23, 2020 – Financial hardship caused by the COVID-19 pandemic has adversely affected donations to lifesaving, charitable organizations. The steep decline in donations leaves patients undergoing cancer treatment, who are also experiencing financial hardship, in vulnerable positions. Because many newly diagnosed cancer patients are forced to travel hundreds of miles to pursue life-saving treatments, specifically in the Greater Philadelphia region, LifeBrand’s Founder and CEO, Thomas J. Colaiezzi of Springfield, PA wanted to do more.

This holiday season, LifeBrand is proud to help support The HEADstrong Foundation. The HEADstrong Foundation, a Philadelphia-based charity, offers residential, financial, and emotional support that keeps families together in the fight against cancer. Nick’s House, their residential support service, is offered to patients and their families for the duration of their treatment. HEADstrong’s goal is to bring a sense of normalcy to patient’s lives.

LifeBrand has been the presenting sponsor for HEADstrong’s Foundation’s Teeing Off Against Cancer Golf Outing, and was also the sponsor of its 2020 Lime Light Gala.
