California Closets Marlton Celebrates Grand Opening and Announces New Partnership with Habitat for Humanity South Central New Jersey

Marlton, NJ — May 13, 2025 — California Closets is thrilled to announce the grand opening of its brand-new showroom at The Promenade at Sagemore in Marlton, NJ, taking place on Thursday, May 15th from 3–7 p.m. As part of the celebration, the company is proud to unveil its newest philanthropic partnership—a collaboration with Habitat for Humanity of South Central New Jersey to support upcoming home builds and community-based volunteer efforts across the region.

California Closets will be sponsoring two upcoming volunteer days, offering employees opportunities to volunteer on rotating weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Additionally, the partnership will include volunteer engagement at Habitat’s ReStores in Maple Shade, where teams will help process donations, assemble furniture, and organize retail inventory—all of which supports affordable housing initiatives in South Jersey.

“We’re incredibly excited to expand our community impact through this new partnership with Habitat for Humanity. These builds and volunteer days reflect the same core values that shape our design work: collaboration, care, and creating spaces that uplift lives,” said Lauren Napoli, Sales Manager of California Closets Marlton.

The grand opening event will also spotlight existing nonprofit partners, including:

Red Door Thrift Store, supporting Cancer Support Community New Jersey
Cooper University Health Care’s Center for Healing, supporting patients with substance use and psychiatric disorders

“We are incredibly thankful to California Closets for their generous donation of shelving and cabinets to the Red Door Thrift Store. We are so grateful for our new partnership! Their support has transformed our space, allowing us to better serve our customers and further our mission of supporting those impacted by cancer,” said Eileen Dillon, CEO of Cancer Support Community NJ.

At Cooper’s Center for Healing, California Closets’ donations have helped organize and elevate areas that serve vulnerable patients with food, clothing, and hygiene essentials—making it easier to address the social determinants of health that impact long-term recovery.

“Through our partnership with California Closets, we’ve enhanced our ability to care for the whole person – not just through medical treatment, but by ensuring access to the basic necessities that support long-term healing. We are so grateful for their generosity,” said Rachel Haroz, MD, Center Head for Cooper University Health Care’s Center for Healing.
