Singles get “Lucky in Love” in Atlantic City
Everyone was “Lucky In Love” at Jenna Communications event held on February 10, at the Foundation Room, in the House of Blues located inside the Showboat Casino in Atlantic City. “Get Your Heart On” was the theme created by Jennifer Sherlock, president of Jenna Communications.
Sherlock worked as a T.V. anchor and reporter for more than 7 years in Atlantic City and the Philadelphia area before founding Jenna Communications in 2007. The company provides public relations, event planning, media training and social media consulting for companies.
Many area singles took the stage to be auctioned off to benefit the Melanie Finley Ovarian Cancer Foundation, including Melanie Finley herself. The foundation was the recipient of around $3,800, which helps raise money for ovarian cancer research and for those suffering with ovarian cancer.
Bernie Emery, host of “The Wingman” and NBC40’s Michelle Dawn Mooney, co-hosted the exciting event and emceed the date auction. Singles indulged in hand massages, makeovers and flirtinis during the event. In addition to people, several items were auctioned off to benefit the cause, including Flyers tickets and several restaurant gift cards inside the Showboat.
Al Schuster, President of True North Matchmaking Service, a matchmaking service based out of King of Prussia was also on hand for the singles.
