Jenna Communications to Host Social Media Series
The team at Jenna Communications, as well as Philadelphia lawyer Frank X. Taney Jr., is hosting a social media class entitled Branding Your Company Through Social Media that will take place over a four-week period and feature several social media stars. The world of business is evolving and changing every day, mostly due to the constant update of technology. Learn how to keep up with it all! We will offer various workshops that will teach you the ins and outs of social media and email marketing, and how these sites can truly benefit your business. The workshops will examine the world of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and various forms of email marketing.
The classes will all take place from 6:30 P.M.-8:30 P.M., starting on Thursday, December 1. The classes will continue on Thursday, December 8; Wednesday, January 11 and Wednesday, January 18. It will take place on the 32nd floor of Two Liberty Place on 16th Street between Market and Chestnut streets. The four classes will include topics on learning the basics of social media and email marketing, boosting your fan page, using social media to brand your company as well as to increase business and the ethical side of using social media. The package will cost $80 per person. Those who are interested in attending, but can’t make it to all four classes can receive information from the classes that they missed. Jenna Communications Holding Its First Annual Holiday Party
Jennifer Sherlock is proud to announce that Jenna Communications will be holding its first annual holiday party, coming up in December. The event will celebrate the holiday season with Jenna Communications employees, clients, friends and those who have helped make Jenna Communications so successful. Local Malls Prepare for Black Friday
Oxford Valley Mall, located in Langhorne, Pa., and Lehigh Valley Mall, located in Whitehall, Pa., are both preparing for their busiest day of the year- November 25, commonly called Black Friday. Both malls have been hard at work to ensure that guests will enjoy their experience while shopping. Both malls are featuring a rejuvenation station where shoppers can sit down and relax throughout the day. Radio station WLEV will be at the Lehigh Valley Mall broadcasting and giving away a $500 Simon Mall Visa Giftcard to one lucky shopper. Oxford Valley Mall will be giving goodie bags to the first 100 shoppers to enter their doors. Both malls will be opening at 4 A.M. Delaware Valley Stroke Council Honors Stars for Stroke
The Delaware Valley Stroke Council held its 16th Anniversary “Stars for Stroke” gala on Saturday, hosted by Shirleen Allicot of 6abc. The event honored several locals who have been instrumental in stroke care in the Greater Delaware Valley. Dr. Ben Usatch of the Lankenau Hospital Emergency Department and the late B. Franklin Diamond who worked at Abington Memorial Hospital were both honored as the Physicians of the Year. Sam and Sharyn Abramowitz were awarded with the Stroke Survivor and Caretaker of the Year. Recognition was also given to Emergency Medical Services and Emergency Physicians in the Greater Delaware Valley. The Lifetime Achievement Award was given to Toby Mazer, M.P.H., who founded the Delaware Valley Stroke Council.
The event took place at the Hilton on City Avenue where hundreds of people enjoyed food and cocktails before participating in a silent auction to benefit the DVSC. The event raised approximately $200,000. The Delaware Valley Stroke Council aims to reduce the incidence and impact of stroke through heightened public awareness, continuing professional education and legislative and patient advocacy. Jennifer Visits the Delaware County Trial Lawyers
Between working with clients and the press, Jenna Communications’ President Jennifer Sherlock took some time to prepare a presentation for the Delaware Country Trial Lawyers Association about social media. Jennifer offered insight into social media and how to effectively use it without dispersing confidential information. The presentation went over what to post and what not to post on social networks and how to use sites like Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter to benefit their business.
Lehigh Valley Mall and Oxford Valley Mall Welcome Santa
Both Lehigh Valley Mall and Oxford Valley Mall have welcomed Santa into his workshop. Lehigh Valley Mall welcomed Santa with a parade as he arrived on a fire truck to the Outdoor Shops at Lehigh Valley Mall. Santa was greeted at the Oxford Valley Mall with a parade and a performance from Radio Disney. The Bucks County Courier Times covered Santa’s arrival at the Oxford Valley Mall. The Morning Call in Lehigh Valley also previewed the arrival of Santa.

Toder was featured on KYW Newsradio, where he explains why he believes that smoking is a compulsion and not an addiction. MultiFunding has been very busy lately, releasing surveys on all the top small business lending banks in New Jersey, Philadelphia and Orange County. MultiFunding continues to reward banks for their focus on small business lending through finding small business lending heroes. MultiFunding’s surveys and information have recently been featured in the Orange County Register, the Philadelphia Business Journal, Pittsburgh Business News and the Star-Ledger.
