JOHN, PAUL GEORGE & RINGO “HANGING TOGETHER” AT MONTGOMERY MALL

NORTH WALES, Pa., Dec. 10, 2012 – Classic Rock 102.9 ‘MGK is proud to present the ultimate event for the “Beatlemanic” on anyone’s shopping list, “The Art of the Beatles”, a visual history of the Fab Four, held at Montgomery Mall features rare hand signed artwork created by John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr, as well as Beatle fine art photographs, Beatles animation and more. “The Art of the Beatles” will also include a special appearance by Yellow Submarine animator Ron Campbell.

The show opened on Friday, December 7 and continues through December 24. “The Art of the Beatles” is located on the first level of the mall between Finish Line and Delia’s. The show will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. (Sundays 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.), and the exhibit is free and all works are available to purchase.

This is the largest collection of hand signed Beatles artwork ever assembled. The show will also feature Beatles related works from friends and influencers of the band including the Rolling Stones, Elvis, Bob Dylan, and others.

Appearing at “The Art of the Beatles” exhibit will be Beatles animator Ron Campbell on Friday, December 14, Saturday, December 15 and Sunday, December 16. Campbell directed the 1960’s Saturday Morning Beatles Cartoon Series and was one of the main animators of the Beatles film, Yellow Submarine. In addition to his Beatles past, Ron has been involved with some of the most beloved cartoons including, Scooby Doo, George of the Jungle, The Jetsons, The Flintstones, the Smurfs, Rugrats, Winnie the Pooh and dozens more. Ron will have many of his original Beatles paintings on sale created specially for this show as well as give attendees a live demonstration of his painting.

It was 50 years ago this fall that the Beatles released their first single in England entitled, “Love Me Do.” Now five decades later, the Fab Four continue to be the most celebrated musical group in Rock History
