Bianca’s Kids Celebrates 10 Years of Making Wishes Come True
South Jersey Nonprofit Grants Two Wishes to Commemorate a Decade of Helping Children in Need
Williamstown, NJ – September 23, 2020 – Bianca’s Kids, a top-rated nonprofit organization based in South Jersey, is excited to announce its 10-year anniversary of granting wishes to children who are struggling with physical, emotional, or financial issues. Over the last decade, Bianca’s Kids has changed the lives of over 25,000 children and families in need, providing blessings like cars, Disney trips, scholarships, medical equipment, and much more. To celebrate a decade of giving, the organization plans to make two families’ wishes come true.
The weekend of October 11, Bianca’s Kids is embarking on a road trip to Waterbury, CT to grant the wish of a young special needs boy by doing a complete bedroom makeover! Bianca’s Kids founder Debbie Savigliano and her “Miracle Mob” will be bussing across three states to make this little boy’s dreams come true, and providing him with the ultimate new room.
In addition to a bedroom makeover, Bianca’s Kids also celebrated its anniversary with a special 10th Anniversary Car Giveaway! After taking nominations for several weeks the ‘Miracle Mob” selected Jernica, an incredible mom of six from Camden, as the winner. Jernica is a single mom with a special needs daughter who survived a drowning when she was two, but was left severely brain damaged as a result of the accident. Jernica provides 24/7 care of her daughter, her other five children, as well as managing her own non-profit organization that raises awareness to prevent childhood drownings. This car giveaway not only lifts a financial burden off of Jernica and her family, but also provides her with a safe and reliable method to transport and care for her children.
“Working with Bianca’s Kids was an amazing experience!”, says Jernica. “From the moment I met Debbie and the rest of the team, I knew we had a connection, and that they really cared for me. They were incredibly wholehearted people, who’ve never stopped communicating with me and checking in on me. As someone who spends most of their time caring for their family, it’s really comforting to know that there are people out there who have my back!”
Over the last 10 years, Savigliano has dedicated her life to continuing Bianca’s passion for helping others. “My goal with Bianca’s Kids was simple”, she says, “to help as many foster, sick and needy children possible in Bianca’s memory. In this life, everyone is provided an opportunity to become someone’s hero. Bianca’s Kids makes it easy for anyone to take advantage of that opportunity.”
