Breast Cancer Survivors Speak Out on Banishing Breast Cancer
WHO: Beth DuPree, MD, Medical Director of Holy Redeemer Breast Health Program, and several breast cancer survivors speak out this Friday, March 18 on how you can help victims become survivors at the Oxford Valley Mall.
WHAT: A plaque presentation will be given in honor of raising more than $5000 at the Big small Walk for Breast Cancer held at the mall last fall. Sharon Harrison, a breast cancer survivor and artist will also be on hand speaking about a mural she is painting for The Radiation Oncology Treatment Room at Holy Redeemer’s Bott Cancer Center. WHY: Hear survivors speak on this breast cancer epidemic. Cupcakes with a pink ribbon will be handed out for all those who attend this honorable ceremony. Information will also be given for the next Big small Walk held on Saturday, October 29, 2011.
