CASEY CARES FOUNDATION PROVIDES SEVERAL WAYS FOR PHILADELPHIA COMPANIES TO GIVE BACK TO THE COMMUNITY THIS SEASON

The Casey Cares Foundation, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit which provides personalized, uplifting and ongoing programs to critically ill children and family members has several ways for Philadelphia companies to get involved with giving back to the community this holiday season.

Casey Cares works directly with many families in the Philadelphia area, especially with patients at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and offers ways for kids who are critically ill to enjoy special moments, such as attending Philadelphia Flyers games and going to holiday parties at Sesame Place.

Your company can team up to donate to sponsor several of our programs, such as our birthday blast program which recognizes milestones for critically ill children or our Kami’s Jammies program which provides pajamas for kids on extended hospital stays and hosts special pajama-themed parties for kids. Your company will be recognized publicly to honor your contributions.

One family recently wrote us saying, “You continually strive to make the lives of the entire family affected by critical illnesses so much better by giving us ‘normal’ in the midst of a huge life crisis. People don’t realize what one night at a soccer match or a movie rental means to the ENTIRE family because we are all affected by this life altering event.”

Casey Baynes, who founded Casey Cares 15 years ago, has found that our holiday giving program is a great way for companies to boost its team-building efforts during the holiday season.

“When everyone chips in and gets together behind a cause like Casey Cares you can’t help but feel better around your fellow employees,” Baynes said. “These companies are helping kids, helping each other and supporting the community. It’s a win-win.”
