“Branding Your Company Through Social Media” Class hosted by Jenna Communications:
The world of business is rapidly changing and evolving every day. The more we develop, the more we rely on social media and e-mail marketing to keep in touch with clients and gain business. Out with the old and in with the new! Jenna Communications has created a “Branding Your Company Through Social Media” workshop for any business professional who wants to enhance their presence online. Attendees learn tips from social media professionals who have experienced the perks of using Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Google+ over a four week period.
Social media stars that help each class include lawyer Frank X. Taney Jr. of Buchanan, Ingersoll, and Rooney, CBS Digital Sales Manager Kurt Laufer, Philly2Philly’s own Joe Vallee, and Partner, President, and CEO of Diccicco Battista Communications, Mike Diccicco. These stars along with Jennifer Sherlock and her interns share their experience with social media and offer insight to those who signed up for the class. Classes resume on January 11. You can still sign up for half price here. Make sure you use the discount code JennaComm2012.

Current Client Update
Lehigh Valley Mall: Our company is proud to announce Lehigh Valley Mall as one of our new clients, just in time for the holiday season! This mall, located in Whitehall, has two levels with department stores such as Macy’s, Boscov’s, and JCPenney and other specialty stores the entire family can enjoy.
Not just a shopping center, Lehigh Valley mall has several fun, charitable, and exciting events for the community to enjoy. With the holiday season just around the corner, Lehigh Valley Mall has photos with Santa, extended hours, and the “Holiday Mail for Heroes” Project in partnership with the Red Cross in which holiday cards are sent to military members overseas. This mall gives customers more than a shopping experience by allowing customers to give back to the community as well!
Plymouth Hypnosis Center: Check out Bryan Toder’s interview with John George of the Philadelphia Business Journal on the Great American Smokeout. Through hypno-therapy, Toder helps clients quit smoking because he treats it as a compulsive behavior rather than an addiction.
Oxford Valley Mall: The Oxford Valley Mall is always busy this time of year. With the holiday shopping season including Black Friday and Christmas, the mall was prepared for large crowds. Black Friday was a huge success this past month. Thousands of people were waiting hours in advance for the 4 A.M. opening. To entice shoppers to come early, the mall even provided “goodie” bags for the first 100 people in line. Santa also made his annual appearance at Oxford Valley mall, spreading holiday cheer. His royal welcome on November 5 was accompanied with a marching band, a parade, and breakfast. Up until Christmas Eve, children will still have the chance to relay their Christmas wishes to the big man himself.
Oxford Valley Mall was one of five Simon malls across the country that hosted Caring Santas”, a private time for families who have children with special needs to get their pictures taken with Santa.
Read more about Oxford Valley Mall’s holiday spirit in the phillyBurbs, or watch it on CBS3, NBC10, and FOX29.
Stay Tuned: In January, Jenna Communications will be announcing several new clients who will be coming on board. Look for more information in the January newsletter.
Mentions: On December 7, Jennifer Sherlock was featured on KYW 1060 with Brad Segall discussing “Reverse Monitoring.” This new trend features younger employees being paired up with older executives at a company to further mentor the senior management on the ins and outs of the newest social media trends. In turn, more experienced executives provide younger employees with information on how they rose to their positions. Jennifer, who has worked with members of the younger generation, sees how their energy and enthusiasm can motivate older executives to use Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other social media sites as resources.
