Ballroom at the Ben Hosts 8th Annual Unmasking Event

Philadelphia, PA (October 17, 2023) – In less than a month JerseyMan/PhillyMan Magazine will be holding its eighth annual Unmasking Gala to celebrate the 2023 Man and Woman of the Year honorees. The event will take place on Thursday, November 2, 2023, from 6 p.m. to 10 PM at the Ballroom at the Ben. Every year, the magazine meticulously chooses 6 men and women to recognize for being the most influential in their professional and philanthropic endeavors. For every ticket purchased for this event, a portion of the proceeds will benefit two charities that have been highlighted by the honorees. Each of the honorees has chosen a charity that they are passionate about, but the guests will be the ones to decide who wins the proceeds by choosing which honoree and charity they wish to support. The top two honorees will then be awarded the proceeds to benefit their selected charity.

The six nominees are Grace Hanlon, supporting Oaks Integrated Health Care, Tine Hansen-Turton, supporting Legacy Foundation, Andy Pritikin, supporting Liberty Lake Foundation, Kimberly S. Reed, supporting Legacy of Hope, Baba Renfrow, supporting SYNERGY: A Charitable Initiative, and Michael Vertolli, supporting RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association.

As well as celebrating the Man and Woman of the Year honorees, there will also be a high-end silent auction that will run from 6 – 8 and those proceeds will go to the charities (expect a lot of sports memorabilia). Guests are encouraged to bring their own masks but masks can be purchased at the venue for $5 and the profit will also be going towards the charities. Throughout the night guests will be able to enjoy a top-shelf open bar, food stations, and music by DJ MONTONE.

Parking Instructions: Ticket price includes parking at PARK (green sign) which is directly across from the 9th Street entrance to Ballroom at the Ben, between Samson Street and Chestnut Street. There will be a parking attendant at the gate so if you’re unsure, ask!
