JerseyMan/PhillyMan Magazine Recognize Honorees with a Night Out in Style
Ballroom at the Ben Hosts 9th Annual Unmasking Event
Philadelphia, PA (October 23, 2024) – In two weeks, JerseyMan/PhillyMan Magazine will be holding its ninth annual Unmasking Gala to celebrate the 2024 Man and Woman of the Year honorees. The event will take place on Thursday, November 7, 2024, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Ballroom at the Ben. Every year, the magazine meticulously chooses six men and women to recognize for being the most influential in their professional and philanthropic endeavors. A portion of the ticket and sponsor proceeds, along with 100% of the silent auction proceeds will benefit all of the honoree charities, and the first and second place charities will be recognized with larger donations. Let’s party for a cause with NBC 10 Philadelphia’s Brenna Weick as the emcee this year!
The six nominees are Cass Forkin, supporting Twilight Wish Foundation, Kevin Hyde, supporting Tun Tavern Legacy Foundation, Leonard Nesmith, supporting Food Bank of South Jersey, Ed Satell, supporting the STEM Scholar Program at the Franklin Institute, Marla Viturello, supporting Gift of Life Howie’s House, and Jaime Whalen, supporting Jewish Family & Children’s Services of Southern New Jersey.
As well as celebrating the Man and Woman of the Year, there will also be a high-end silent auction those proceeds will go to the charities (expect a lot of sports memorabilia). Guests are encouraged to bring their own masks but can be purchased at the venue for $10 and the profit will also be going towards the charities. Throughout the night, guests will be able to enjoy a four-hour top-shelf open bar, food stations, and music by DJ MONTONE.
Sponsors include Tito’s Handmade Vodka which is the charity sponsor and featured vodka of the night, Charity sponsor PayDay Employer Solutions, TITLE sponsor T.C. Irons Insurance, Gold sponsor PrimePoint HR & Payroll, Silver sponsor Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board, Bronze sponsors Alcom Printing Group, Medford Village Country Club, Perlow Productions, and many more fantastic businesses.
Parking Instructions: Ticket price includes parking at PARK (green sign) which is directly across from the 9th Street entrance to Ballroom at the Ben, between Samson Street and Chestnut Street. There will be a parking attendant at the gate so if you’re unsure, ask!
