QUAKER BRIDGE MALL ANNOUNCES NEW STORES AND RENOVATIONS
LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ, Nov. 14, 2012—Simon Property Group, Inc. (NYSE:SPG), the world’s leading retail real estate company announces six new stores have opened at its Quaker Bridge Mall property. H & M, Pandora, Sur La Table, Victoria’s Secret, Stride Rite and The Children’s Place are the latest to join the central New Jersey shopping destination’s updated mix of retailers.
“The addition of these new retailers helps to further diversify Quaker Bridge Mall’s portfolio of stores and enhance the overall shopping experience,” said Marian Kapp, director of mall marketing. “Shoppers now have more options to buy apparel and merchandise for a wide range of age groups and individual tastes.”
H&M, opening Nov. 15 at noon, is a global retailer known for offering fashion-forward apparel and quality basics. It will bring over 20,000 square feet of great merchandise to Quaker Bridge Mall and will feature the Swedish retailer’s fantastic children’s collection. To celebrate the store’s arrival at Quaker Bridge Mall, there will be giveaways up to $300 for the first 100 shoppers in line and opening offers starting from $5.
Pandora, designers and makers of hand-finished, modern jewelry and best known for their customizable charm bracelets, opened a location at Quaker Bridge Mall on Nov. 11, joining the company’s network of more than 800 concept stores.
Sur La Table opened Nov. 7and offers the finest cookware, cutlery and hard-to-find tools for the kitchen. With many employees who are serious cooks themselves, customers receive expert advice on which pieces will best serve their culinary needs.
Victoria’s Secret, the internationally acclaimed women’s lingerie, clothing and accessories brand, re-opened a flagship store in the mall’s center court with 12,000 square feet of shopping space on Oct. 25.
Stride Rite, which re-opened on the upper level center court on Oct. 26, offers a full selection of stylish shoes for babies, toddlers and young children. All shoes are designed with the latest technologies to help kids begin healthy walking patterns from the start.
The Children’s Place is a leading specialty retailer of children’s apparel and accessories for ages newborn to 10 years old. The company has more than 1,000 store locations across the U.S. and Canada. The Quaker Bridge Mall location re-opened on the upper level Sears hallway on Oct. 27.
The above stores are part of 40 new retailers set to open at Quaker Bridge Mall, and join the additions of Michael Kors, Teavana and The Cheesecake Factory. Along with this substantial update to its collection of retailers, Quaker Bridge Mall is currently undergoing dramatic renovations that will give the mall a fresh look and provide a more modern shopping experience.
