Glow-in-the-Dark Miniature Golf Arrives at Oxford Valley Mall

Langhorne, Pa. August 16, 2012 – Glowgolf, an operator of indoor, glow-in-the-dark, miniature golf courses based in Wichita, Kan., has opened a fourth Philadelphia-area location at Oxford Valley Mall in Langhorne.

Glow-in-the-dark miniature golf is a family entertainment concept similar to black light or “cosmic” bowling. Special florescent golf balls, putters, course obstacles and wall décor all glow under black lights. The florescent-glow of the course creates a “one-of-a-kind” miniature golf experience.

Jim Malervy, Director of Mall Marketing for Oxford Valley Mall, said, “Glowgolf is an exciting addition to all that Oxford Valley Mall has to offer. This is just one of a couple new tenants joining the merchant mix here and we look forward to its unique contribution to the community.”

Located near The Shoe Department, the new Oxford Valley Mall Glowgolf features an 18-hole miniature golf course, a Laser Maze attraction and an area for birthday parties and group events. Guests can play up to 54 holes with their admission. An adult miniature golf admission is nine dollars and a child miniature golf admission is seven dollars. Group and family discounts are also available.

Jeff Bennett, owner of the Oxford Valley Glowgolf, said, “The course here at Oxford Valley has all of our latest bells and whistles. I’m glad we were able to add the Laser Maze. It’s a great addition to the course.”

Operating hours this summer are Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. When school is back in session, they will be Monday through Friday 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

In addition to the new Oxford Valley Mall location, Glowgolf operates three other locations in the Philadelphia area. Other locations in the United States include operations in Utah, Colorado, Kansas, Illinois, Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin, Massachusetts, New Jersey, the state of New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Kentucky and Tennessee.
