February came and went way too fast! Read below for a recap of this month at Jenna Communications and for exciting upcoming events!

New Partnership Announcement:

Event Recaps:

On February 17, Brain Balance Center sponsored the Skate and Sign event with former Philadelphia Flyers player, Brian Propp, at Oaks Center IceWhile the kids were enjoying skating with Brian, parents were in an information seminar with Dr. Joe Schneider, founder of Brain Balance. Guest speaker, Barbara Tribuiani, the mother of a 17-year-old Brain Balance patient who suffered critical brain injuries, shared their success story. The kids were star-struck by Brian and were excited that they had the opportunity to run some drills with a former Flyer. Real Entertainment News created buzz on the event!

Upcoming Events:

Doctors Express is sponsoring another St. Joe’s basketball game on March 4 against La Salle. You do not want to miss this highly anticipated Big 5 matchup.  Doctors Express has great sports and summer camp physical promotions going on until March 16, 2015. Calling all networkers! On Tuesday, March 10, from 6-9 p.m. Tavern on Broad is hosting the Ultimate Networking Party Live! Join Philadelphia, South Jersey and Delaware professionals that are ready to connect in a cocktail party atmosphere. Click here to get tickets.

On March 16, from 6-8 p.m. the BRIDGE Society will host a Professional Mentoring and networking event for students. Our President, Jennifer Sherlock, was invited and will discuss Jenna Communications LLC, and how she started her business in the midst of a recession, yet has kept it running for almost six years through the power of relationships, networking, and more. Our client, Casey Baynes, from Casey Cares Foundation will share her experience, advice and best practices for developing a career passion and pathway to achieve career goals. Jennifer  will also speak to a Networking for Success class on March 17 at Villanova University. She will cover topics such as personal branding, building long-term relationships, professional group networking and conducting informational meetings.

Hoodie and Heels at Xfinity Live! was postponed due to inclement weather but don’t worry, we have already selected a new date! Hoodie and Heels will now be April 11 at 9 p.m. The event is a charity benefit for Casey Cares Foundation. There are tons of awesome prizes to be raffled off and a best-dressed competition with the chance to win a pair of Christian Louboutin heels! Hoodie and Heels was featured on Good Day Philadelphia, where Jennifer spoke about the event and Casey Cares Foundation. Jenna Communications LLC, created an online campaign to raise money for The Casey Cares Foundation. Click here to donate and help us reach our goal of $25,000!


Agency & Client Updates:

Casey Cares Foundation will select a family from the foundation to attend a 76er’s game this month! In January they sent a family to the Flyer’s game and it was an awesome night for all. The foundation is also hosting a Caring Connections Party, which will allow Casey Cares children and their families to surround themselves with companionship and support while taking part in fun group activities! Stay tuned for the party date, as it will be in April or May! The Delaware Valley Stroke Council is working to plan the 21st Annual Strides For Stroke 5K Run/Walk. Mark your calendars for Sunday, June 14, 2015 at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. This year there will be a theme; stay tuned to find out what it is!
