Event Recaps:

Bowling, food and drinks always equals a great time. Lucky Strike and Suiting Warriors Foundation teamed up in honor of Veterans Day to host Suits and Strikes. Dozens of people turned out to bowl in the name of charity. We want to send a big thank you out to all of those who donated suits or made a donation. All suits go towards veterans transitioning from war to the workforce. If you didn’t make it to the event, you can still donate a suit.

Fine dining and dancing made Jazz It Up Philly a hot spot for all those who wanted to get their groove on. The crowd was dressed for the era. The pin up hair styles, mid-calf dresses, pearl necklaces and suits matched perfectly with the melody of the night. The bands kept everyone on their toes.

Dare to be different? Jenna Communications supported the first annual Booze and Tattoos event at the TLA. It was the wildest party on South Street with various tattoo artists and rock bands. There were “Who did It better” competitions that put artists work in the spotlight. Things got a little steamy when an exotic dancer started dancing with hula-hoops, while her partner played with fire.

Friends Giving was a fundraiser for social impact for Ycenter. Ycenter prepares college students for immersive missions in developing countries. Philadelphia leaders and influencers gathered at Benjamin’s Desk for the Chef’s Tasting event. The delicious food was prepared by Food Network’s “Chopped” Champ Chef Georgeann Leaming.

Upcoming Events:

Casey Cares Foundation’s holiday party Philly Edition kicks off at Sesame Place on December 6.  The holidays can be a stressful time for Casey Cares families who don’t have the time or the finances to plan fun outings for their children – but Sesame Place is giving back this year! Dozens of local families will get to see Santa in a parade through the park, plus enjoy the holiday festivities with their loved ones. A surprise character visit for the children will take place during their lunch time. We would like to thank Sesame Place for donating all of the tickets, food, and Santa’s visit for these critically ill children. Parx Casino was generous enough to donate the parking vouchers. We thank you all for paying it forward this season. Remember a small donation to Casey Cares allows the organization to continue to bring smiles to those who need it most not only during the holidays but also throughout the entire year.

Give the gift that keeps on giving this holiday season, and donate to Casey Cares.  #GivingTuesday
