This week’s PR tips are a few short tips on effective social media outreach methods for Facebook. Just because they’re brief, don’t underestimate the importance of these tips!

Thursday is the best day of the week for people to look at your posts on Facebook.
Don’t post during prime time (11am-4pm EST) or your stories will get pushed to the side by news feeds and general traffic.
Although TinyURL can be great when you have a restraint on characters, readers are three times as likely to read a story if the original link is posted.
Link your YouTube channel to your company Facebook fan page so that viewers can see your channel.
Keep your FB fan page updated and post when your clients are in the news. This helps if a journalist is looking for your expertise or just for credibility.
Always monitor what is being said about you on Facebook- if they are saying something negative, engage in a conversation with them to show you care instead of calling your lawyer
