The #JennaComm family is happy to welcome New Liberty Distillery as our newest client.

New Liberty Distillery has been doing its part to combat the hand sanitizer shortage and keep its staff working by using the facility to produce high-proof alcohol-based hand sanitizer. Bulk production of hand sanitizer is being produced at the Kensington based distillery and is available to the public at local distribution centers including hospitals and other key crisis centers determined by the PA Department of Health.

In the next 7-10 days, New Liberty Distillery has set a goal to put 100,000 bottles of hand sanitizer into the public’s hands.

With schools closed and many people out of work, Philip’s Steaks in South Philadelphia wanted to do their part to help their community. The steak shop recently provided free sandwiches to the elderly and families with young children to help ease the financial hardship of many individuals impacted by COVID-19.

Using the safe word “Susie Q” community members were able to receive a free steak sandwich with a no questions asked policy. The generosity displayed by Philip’s Steaks went a long way in the community. Philip’s Steaks was featured on the cover of The South Philadelphia Public Record for this effort.

Social App Helps Make Social Distancing Fun and Charitable

With New Challenge

When there are no sports, you get creative! Sports betting sites had been relying on the NBA, March Madness, and upcoming baseball games, but now have had to pivot quickly to other innovative ideas.  Sports betting app, Vig It, is seeing if users can step up to the challenge of social distancing themselves using bragging rights, and charity as their incentive. The “Social Distance Challenge” just went live in the App store!

Daily competitions on the app allows users to participate in the “Social Distance Challenge,” a national challenge pairing two states together to see which will have the lowest percentage of new coronavirus cases for the day.

Users can login to the app and virtually connect with players to predict individual state cases, and help maintain their state’s number of cases by staying inside.

The daily challenge encourages users to take the call to social distance themselves seriously, while also filling the void to interact with one another via the app.

Proceeds from the competition are donated to PACT, a non-profit that finds animals homes for military service members when they’re assigned for deployment.
