Kathleen Titus – Committed To The Growth And Success Of The Running Industry
Philadelphia, PA, (July 26, 2022) – Running USA member representatives have approved the election of a slate of five board members to three-year director terms starting this month. One of those elected is Kathleen Titus, Owner of All Fitness Events, and Race Director of the Philadelphia Marathon Weekend.
Kathleen has been fortunate to be able to combine her background in destination marketing with her passion for running to create a successful business and succeed in the fitness industry.
Despite the Philadelphia Marathon being canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Titus was appointed Race Director in 2021 and returned in-person racing just in time for Philadelphia Marathon Weekend. The race was a success as over 21,000 runners from all 50 states and 38 different countries registered to take part in the weekend’s races.
Titus has been involved with the Philadelphia Marathon years prior to being named its race director, working in the events marketing, public relations, and elite athlete management.
Her company All Fitness Events, secured the attendance of some of the most legendary runners such as Meb Keflezighi, who is the only male athlete in history to win the New York Marathon, the Boston Marathon, and an Olympic medal. Peres Jepchirchir of Kenya now holds the title for women.
Kathleen is extremely honored to be chosen to serve a three-year director term for Running USA.
“I’m delighted to be elected to the Board of Directors at Running USA,” said Kathleen Titus. “I appreciate the confidence Running USA has in me and could not be more excited to collaborate with the team and use my knowledge to expand and grow the success of Running USA.”
