Delaware Valley Stroke Council 5th Annual Stroke Alert Day

The Delaware Valley Stroke Council celebrated their 5th annual Stroke Alert Day yesterday, May 1st. They offered free blood pressure screenings and helped educate the community about the potential warning signs of stroke. Medical professionals and volunteers were stationed in various Delaware Valley hospitals, drug stores, supermarkets and malls including Jefferson University Hospital, where the Jefferson Hospital Robot was there to help! Jefferson Hospital for Neuroscience is the only hospital in Philadelphia that has the robot, and serves the community with the most advanced technology available.
