Hair O’ The Dog Donates a $14,000 Charitable Check to Bianca’s Kids

Each year Hair O’ The Dog, produced by Metrospect Events Inc., a Philadelphia based marketing & events firm, chooses a deserving charity to donate a portion of event proceeds to, and this year was no exception with selecting the South Jersey non-profit, Bianca’s Kids. This wonderful deserving charity provides hope to the hopeless by granting wishes to children and families in need. From celebrity meet & greets to bedroom makeovers and everything in between. Children who are struggling emotionally, physically, mentally or financially – every needy child is considered one of Bianca’s Kids. To date, Bianca’s Kids have provided over 13,000 foster & needy children with Christmas gifts, necessities, prom dresses, concert tickets, granted personal wishes and much more.

Who: Metrospect Events raised $14,000 which will be presented in a check presentation ceremony to the charity.

What: This year, Hair O’ The Dog chose Bianca’s Kids to donate a portion of the proceeds to from the event. If a child has been displaced by the foster system, struck by tragedy, or affected by disability, then he or she is one of Bianca’s Kids. Hair O’ The Dog will be donating a generous check to Bianca’s Kids to allow them to continue their efforts in restoring hope to individuals in need.

Why: To donate a charitable check to the non-profit organization, Bianca’s Kids, for their endless contributions in assisting children and families during times of need.

About Hair O’ The Dog:      

Hair O’ The Dog was founded 23 years ago by longtime friends and owners of Metrospect Events Inc. and Chorus Communications Inc., Daniel Cronin and Robert Molinaro. The event is considered the longest running black-tie affair in the country. Hair O’ The Dog attracts not only local but national celebrities, athletes, and media personalities. Held each year at an exclusive Philadelphia venue, a portion of the event proceeds are given to various local charities such as: Big Brothers, Big Sisters, The Garden of Reflection (PA’s official 9-11 memorial), The National Constitution Center, Habitat for Humanity, Project H.O.M.E., Friends of Memorial Hall Fund, the Sunshine Foundation, The Great Guy Group, The Bethesda Project, Friends Are By Your Side, The Claddagh Fund, and THON.

About Bianca’s Kids:

Established in 2010, Bianca’s Kids is a 501(c)3 approved nonprofit organization that grants wishes to foster, sick and needy children.  Our founder, Debbie Savigliano, founded Bianca’s Kids in memory of her niece Bianca Yodice. It was Bianca’s passion for children that inspired our organization, which focuses on bringing joy to the most-worthy children. Whether a child is struggling due to mental, physical, emotional or financial issues – every child in need is considered one of Bianca’s kids. To date, Bianca’s Kids has served over 13,000 children in New Jersey and around the U.S.. Our goal is to make that number grow by the thousands.
