Philly’s Greatest Masquerade Celebration Honors Local Heroes and Gives Back

JerseyMan and PhillyMan Magazine Hosts 3rd Annual Unmasking the Legacy Gala

PHILADELPHIA, PA – October 25, 2017– On Thursday, November 2, 2017, JerseyMan and PhillyMan Magazine host their 3rd annual Unmasking the Legacy Gala to celebrate its man and woman of the year honorees at Ballroom at the Ben. This long-anticipated masquerade-themed celebration will bring together 10 men and women who have had profound impacts on their community. A portion of each ticket sold will benefit the charity or non-profit chosen by the two honorees with the most ticket sales.

Rose Marie Beauchemin, who is supporting The Kidney Project, is one of the area’s most influential and dedicated leaders. As founder and President of Beau Institute, a permanent cosmetic institute that specializes in advanced corrective cosmetic techniques, she has garnered international acclaim and has traveled the globe to teach the intricacies of procedures to other industry professionals.  Her work in the field of 3-dimensional areola tattooing has allowed Rose Marie to empower and celebrate breast cancer survivors during Beau Institute’s annual Day of Hope. During Day of Hope, Beau Institute provides complimentary 3-dimensional areola/nipple tattooing for those in need following mastectomies. In anticipation of the event, Beauchemin noted, “I am truly honored by the nomination and grateful to be considered, especially with so many great men and women throughout our region, but even more special is the opportunity to shed light to The Kidney Project, an organization that is important to me. I am very excited to be a part of such an exceptional experience.”

Other notable honorees include, Mary Ann Broccolini for Kawempe Home Care, Bill Brandt supporting Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of New Jersey, Peter Cordua for Joseph Lacroce Foundation, Len Dolce for SpArc Philadelphia, Dennis Flanagan for Virtua Foundation, Sheila Hess supporting The Children’s Charity, Brandon Kamin for the Jewish Relief Agency, Yasmine Mustafa for Coded by: Kids, and Emily Tepe supporting Musicians on Call.

“JerseyMan and PhillyMan remain committed to shining our light on business leaders in the Delaware Valley who not only excel professionally, but also philanthropically. Unmasking the Legacy is a way for us to reveal the hard work and dedication of these 10 leaders. And what better way to do that but to bring together diverse groups of likeminded professionals and celebrate together?! We hope you will join us,” said Ashley Dunek, Special Events Coordinator at JerseyMan and PhillyMan Magazine.
